18:00Angus Presbytery Carols At The Mart Forfar Mart
Following the Big Day Out in May when Rev Chris Blackshaw spoke about his Farming Ministry, Angus Presbytery are delighted to announce the very first Carols at the Mart at Forfar Mart on Thursday December 19th from 6pm – 8pm. This is being organised by a group from the farming and rural community and supported by Rev Maggie Hunt at St Margaret’s Forfar. It aims to reduce isolation, loneliness and mental health problems in farming and rural families by offering a time to come together, to speak to each other and support one another and raise funds for RSABI. It would be ideal if all rural and semi-rural parishes could try to have at least one person from the congregation come along – to meet with folks from their community and make connections going forward to support them.
