Hi and welcome to the Barry Parish Church website.

My name is Mike Goss, and I was inducted to the linked charge of Barry with Carnoustie in August 2003.  This is a new linkage, previously the two churches were served by Rev Wilma Cairns at Barry and Rev Colin Caskie at Carnoustie.

Barry Parish is the largest of three Church of Scotland parishes in Carnoustie, serving about half of the town.  It also includes the village of Barry and some of the farms to the North and West.  Our partner church, Carnoustie Church, serves the central section of the town, and Panbride Parish Church (Minister: Rev Annette Gordon) serves the East end and the countryside adjacent.

The congregation is small but growing, and there is a friendly feel to our services.  The Church was recently refurbished, with a new heating and lighting systems, a new kitchen, and a ramp access installed on the North side.  The sound system has been augmented with new microphones.
