Many people ask about Christenings, but this is not actually a term used in the Church of Scotland.  We offer two types of service to welcome children, Baptism, which involves the child joining the Church and therefore usually requires at least one parent to be or to become a member, and Thanksgiving, in which children are named and God's blessing is given.

Both these services take place during the normal Sunday morning services, and so there are no charges for them.
