Dear Friend,
Summer is well under way and we've already heard wonderful stories from Holidays and Missions that have run so far! We give thanks for the provision of our centres and sites, for church partnerships, our wonderful volunteers and of course the young people that we have encountered and will continue to meet with this summer.
Please continue to pray with us as we seek to fill teams, for our Team Leaders as they plan their events and for the Magnitude team as they prepare with anticipation for this year's festival!
Please read on for exciting news and updates!
1 Chronicles 16:34 (NIV)
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
News & Updates
Big Celebration
Join us at Lendrick Muir on Saturday 19 August as we come together as the SU family to celebrate all that God has been doing through SU ministry in this past year. There’s something for all ages; stay for all or part of the day, catch up with old friends and get to know some new people. There’s so much to give thanks for and it’s great to do that together!
Bookings are now OPEN! Like last year, we will have lunch and dinner options, a children's programme and a Champion of Champions Tournament! We can't wait to see you there!
Gaming Volunteers
Gamers! We need you! This year we’re piloting a new Gaming Group online to connect with young people (13+) who love to game. We’ll run this group on an evening weeknight, and we want gamers who are keen to simply be present and share Jesus as the opportunity arises.
This is in the pilot stage, so if you’re full of ideas and passion for reaching young people online, we want to hear from you as we shape what this brand new outreach might look like.
GO Conference
The Go Conference (13-16 October) is SU Scotland’s national youth conference for young people in S4-S6 who want to grow in their relationship with God and understand how the Bible shapes all areas of life… home, school, and friendships. Bookings opened in June and are already coming in. Please pray that the remaining places will book up, for the team as they prepare for the event, and the young people who we hope will...
- Be inspired to Journey with Jesus as they explore the disciples' journey of kingdom discovery.
- Be Shaped by Jesus to flourish as a disciple of his as they explore ways to grow as Christians and look at issues facing us today.
- Equip each other to serve at home, school, and among friends.

SU Scotland Legacies
Could you share your story and inspire others to leave a gift in their will?
We’re looking for supporters who have included a gift in their will to SU Scotland to share a bit about their involvement with us and what inspired them to include a gift to SU. We’d also be interested in hearing from you if you’ve had a family member who left a gift in their will to SU. Your story would feature in a special mailing to our supporters and serve as an encouragement to others to consider including a gift to SU in this way. If you’d be happy to share your legacy story with us, please email legacies@suscotland.org.uk with your details and our friendly fundraising team will be in touch.
Legacy gifts help us reach many more children and young people each year with the good news of Jesus.
As always, we appreciate your ongoing prayer and support.
With our warmest thanks
Gillian McNaughton
