The remarkable climate-healing power of producers
This earth day, together, we are investing in trade that puts people and our planet at its heart.
We all know there is no climate justice without trade justice.
Mainstream trade damages the earth we rely on. But it doesn’t have to be this way. The Producer Fund <https://transform-trade.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=742651e2cb92ae3a9ca13a3d9&id=d316d7cb86&e=952e550679> invests in farmers and artisans doing trade ethically and protecting the environment.
For example, Meru Herbs, a co-operative of family farmers in Kenya, have a solar powered factory, use mango waste product for jams, and grow organic produce.

At Sadhna, a women's garment co-operative in Rajasthan, India, waste fabric isn't thrown away - it's turned into smaller products such as cushion covers, purses and more - by doing this they have reduced their waste by 50% and have trained over 90 of their artisans in zero waste practices.
