Prayer Connection

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and
the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
2 Corinthians 13:14 (ESV)

Sunday, June 18
One of Jesus' final exhortations to us was for unity. Yet we are lacking in love for one another and in unity. Pray this week for unity in the body of Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Monday, June 19
Pray for the MAF Waypoints team and the six interns currently in Ecuador learning about missions.

Tuesday, June 20
Pray for new fruit in Central Asia. MAF staff there report that people there are genuinely looking for the truth and many are interested in the gospel. They have no hope in their country or in their faith, so they are hungrier for the truth than ever.

Wednesday, June 21
Lift up Tim and Liz Schandorff. Tim serves at MAF as a financial analyst, and the couple previously served with MAF in Haiti. Pray for Tim and his many key responsibilities within the organization. Pray for Liz in her ministry work and her connections within the community. Pray for both Tim and Liz as their raise their boys.

Thursday, June 22
Pray for programs in Chad and Papua New Guinea, which are facing fuel shortages. Fuel is a vital resource for MAF. Pray that MAF International staff have everything they need to live and work in these nations.

Friday, June 23
Lift up Fred and Desiree Schmidt, serving with MAF for nearly 30 years. The Schmidts have served in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Nampa, Ecuador, and Indonesia. They recently completed their time in Indonesia and will be transferring to MAF HQ once again. Pray for this transition and pray for wisdom for their next steps.

Saturday, June 24
The waiting continues for Ryan Koher and his family. Ryan, Annabel, and their boys are presently at home in Nampula. Ryan’s legal counsel in Mozambique continues to press for the investigation to conclude and for Ryan’s full release. Ryan's current provisional release requires him to check in every 15 days with authorities and he is unable to leave the country. Praise God Annabel and the boys secured visas to stay in Mozambique until early November.
