Tearfund Lent Devotional Day 32

A prayer for you

‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.’ (John 3:16-17, NIV)

Proclaim these biblical truths over yourself today, reading through them (out loud if possible) three times. Revisit them throughout the remainder of Lent.

Thank you, God, that you created me in your image.

Thank you that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Thank you that you know me intimately.

Thank you that you love me unconditionally.

Thank you that nothing can separate me from this love.

Thank you that nothing can distance me from your presence.

Thank you that I can stand unashamed before you.

Thank you that your favour is upon me.

Thank you that your mercy is unending.

Thank you that your Holy Spirit lives in me.

Thank you that your son died for me.

Thank you that he rose from the dead for me.

Amen.
