All these Fairtrade choices aren't just good news for our skin.
They are good news for the Women Entrepreneurs in West Africa harvesting Fairtrade shea butter, a common ingredient in many beauty, wellness and cosmetic products.

Millions of women in West Africa work picking, harvesting and producing shea butter. It’s difficult, skilled and at times dangerous work.
With Fairtrade, the Women Entrepreneurs producing shea butter can earn a fairer income and they have the support of working together with other women in a co-operative.

96 per cent of you told us you would choose products made with Fairtrade shea butter. But over one-third of people responding to our survey said they did not know these products were already available.
That shows us it’s time to spread the good news about Fairtrade shea butter. We’ll be in touch over the next few weeks with more opportunities to do just that.
