Nothing is too much for God.

Something to read

For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever

- Psalm 100:5, from full reading of Psalm 100.

Something to think about

We’re back in the world of sheep once again and are being reminded in verse 3 of who God is (he that made us), who we are (the sheep) and what he provides (pasture).

The whole earth has an opportunity to respond loudly and joyfully (v1) to the everlasting faithfulness and generosity of God from one generation to the next (v5).

This is the God who loved the world so much that he gave his only son, Jesus Christ, to be a Good Shepherd that would ‘lay down his life for the sheep’ (John 10:11).

Nothing is too much for God - ‘his steadfast love endures forever’ - and nothing shows that more than his forgiveness and his total acceptance of us when Jesus gives himself for us on the cross.

Something to do

Find a way, or take the opportunity, to be generous to someone today. If somebody asks why, just say, ‘For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever!’

Something to pray

Thank you for your care towards us despite our troubles and faults.

Thank you for your generosity in Christ, and for every opportunity we get to be generous to others with our time, patience and belongings.

Darllen: Salm 100 (Beibl.net)

Mae’r byd i gyd i gael cyfle i ymateb yn llafar ac yn llawen (adn. 1) i ha

elioni diddiwedd a ffyddlondeb Duw o un genhedlaeth i’r llall (adn. 5). Dyma’r Duw sydd yn caru pobl y byd cymaint nes rhoi ei Fab Iesu Grist yn fugail da sydd yn ‘fodlon marw dros y defaid’ (Ioan 10:11).

Does dim yn ormod gan Dduw, ‘mae ei haelioni yn ddiddiwedd’, a does dim yn dangos hynny’n fwy na’i faddeuant a’i dderbyniad llwyr inni pan mae Iesu yn rhoi ei hun ar y groes trosom.

I’w wneud:

Chwilia am, neu cymera’r cyfle i fod yn hael heddiw ac os bydd rywun yn gofyn pam, yna dywed: ‘Achos mae’r Arglwydd mor dda! Mae ei haelioni yn ddiddiwedd...’

I’w weddïo:

Diolchwn am dy ofal drosom er ein trafferth a’n beiau. Am dy haelioni yng Nghrist ac am bob cyfle i fod yn hael efo’n amser, ein amynedd a’n heiddo.
