Sunday, 25^th June
Sports Plus
Over 850 young people will be at Sport Plus this summer. Pray that the eyes of those who don’t yet trust Jesus would be opened to their need of him, and that those who are Christians would grow and leave Sports Plus better equipped to represent Jesus in their sport.
 
Monday, 26^th June
Young Performance Athletes (YPAs)
Pray for YPAs who are currently taking exams. Pray they would not feel overwhelmed as they continue training alongside studying, and that they would know God’s peace. Pray for wisdom for YPA parents as they support their children during this period.
 
Tuesday, 27^th June
British Masters Golf
Pray for Christian golfers, caddies and coaches involved in the British Masters at the Belfy this week. Give thanks for Kenny Crawford and pray that he would be able to encourage Christians in elite Golf to live and speak for Jesus as he walks alongside them this week.
 
Wednesday, 28^th June
Partners
Give thanks for God’s provision of finances and the partners who support the work financially. Pray for the current fundraising campaign, that more people might prayerfully consider partnering with us.
 
Thursday, 29^th June
Lausanne Diamond League
Pray for Christian athletes competing at the Lausanne Diamond League on Friday. Give thanks for the opportunity athletes have to meet for a Bible study today ahead of the event and pray it would be an encouraging time as they read and pray together.
 
Friday, 30^th June
Recruitment
As applications close on Monday 3^rd, pray for the process of recruiting a new Fundraising and Engagement Manager to join the staff team at Christians in Sport. Pray that God would raise up the right person for the role and that they’d be a faithful servant of the work.
 
Saturday, 1^st July
Wimbledon Tennis
Give thanks for the opportunity Christian tennis players had to meet for a meal with Christians in Sport staff last night ahead of Wimbledon. Pray that this would be an encouragement for players as they face the pressure of playing at the highest level.
