Stop UK arms sales to Saudi Arabia

Since the war in Yemen began almost 8 years ago, the UK has supplied <https://transform-trade.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=742651e2cb92ae3a9ca13a3d9&id=4dbe2a0162&e=952e550679> billions of pounds worth of fighter jets, bombs and missiles to the Saudi-led coalition for use in Yemen.
The coalition has targeted homes and farms schools and hospitals, weddings and funerals, resulting in at least 8,983 civilians being killed. This is a violation of International Humanitarian Law and makes the sale of weapons illegal under UK law.
In 2019, legal action by CAAT <https://transform-trade.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=742651e2cb92ae3a9ca13a3d9&id=a94a18451e&e=952e550679> forced the government to stop issuing export licences for weapons that could be used in the war in Yemen. But in July 2020 the government resumed arms sales <https://transform-trade.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=742651e2cb92ae3a9ca13a3d9&id=130a182367&e=952e550679> , claiming any violations of international humanitarian law were only ‘isolated incidents’.
This January CAAT are taking the government to court again over the supply of UK weapons for the war in Yemen. We’ve stopped them before, and with your help we can stop them again!
