A Scottish Borders church is participating in a community partnership project to provide provisions for low-income individuals and families this Christmas.

Members of Innerleithen Traquair and Walkerburn Parish Church are determined to do what they can to support people struggling to make ends meet due to the cost of living crisis.

Parish minister, Rev Fraser Edwards, explains why the congregation is taking part and what they are doing to support some of the most vulnerable people in the local community.

"This simple act is a blessing to others," he said.

"Jesus said part of his mission is to bring Good News to the poor and we need to be part of that."
