A minister who grew up in India has shared some of his birth country's Christmas traditions.

Rev Sumit Harrison was inducted into the linked charge of Carnwath and Carstairs in South Lanarkshire in December 2020.

The minister, who goes by Harrison as his first name, was born and raised in New Delhi and is ordained in the Methodist Church and Church of India.

Married with two children, he has lived in the UK since 2009.
