Make It A Harvest To Remember

Dear Friend,

It’s not too late to make this a Harvest to remember for people living in poverty.

At Harvest, we celebrate God’s great love in providing all we need. It’s also when we share his blessings with people who are struggling. This is what Tearfund is here for, and this Harvest I hope you’ll join us in making it one to celebrate. A gift can make a huge difference for people living in poverty around the world, many of whom are carrying an enormous weight.

Aksa is one such person. She is 58 and has to care for her family, including her grandchildren, all on her own. She’s up before sunrise and works until midnight, at home or on farms some distance away. She survives on just one meal a day. Yet, as incredibly tough as her life is, her trust in God can’t be shaken.

Tearfund supports an initiative called Farming God’s Way, which introduces people like Aksa to highly effective farming techniques. It’s already helping Aksa make more of her small plot. However, your support this Harvest could help this important work to grow. This Harvest, we are turning to you for help. No one should carry the kind of load that Aksa has to.

£41

could pay for someone like Aksa to be trained in conservation farming, to help them produce more from their land while protecting their environment.

Your gift will make such a difference this Harvest for people around the world. Aksa asked for our supporters to pray for her life to improve, and for her family to have a better life too. Please keep Aksa, and others like her, in your prayers.

Thank you, and God bless you,
